I’ll be honest, the price we’re offering right now may not stay forever. But our mission is to help new nonprofit leaders create successful, impactful, and sustainable nonprofits, so we’ve been working exclusively with startup nonprofits since the company began. #1: The filing process is a lot easier than most people think.

Filing your nonprofit with the IRS can seem like a scary proposition, and firms that charge you an arm and a leg play off of that fear. In reality though, the IRS doesn’t want to seem like the bad guy for rejecting a charity, and approves over 97% of the charities that apply. Yes, you need to dot your Is and Cross yout Ts, and there are several things the IRS looks for that you need to have in your application, but more are approved forthright.

#2: The real problem with nonprofits is that they only file.

Every 10 years, approximately 40% of nonprofits fail, close, or discontinue operating. These nonprofits had incredibly passionate founders, often with many thousands of hours and blood, sweat and tears poured into them. The biggest reasons they fail are because of things they didn’t do in the beginning – they didn’t clearly identify the needs they were serving and what made them different from other nonprofits, they didn’t create a mission vision, or values, and they didn’t have a fundraising plan.
